Color brightness

A few pictures I made today.
The first ones are from carnaval.

Strange things about me

This is one of my latest projects.
It's a dress full made of cardboard and injected with red spray paint.
The source of inspiration is my own mind,
I have a complicated mind and got the upportunity to employ myself without thinking how I would going to make it.
And so this is the result.

The century of the new women

Hello, this is my first blog and first ariticle I write about what I do. I actually don't know what you going to think about it. So I just write something about my latest project in Fashion (:

In February I participated at a competition for Youngsters called Kunstbende in the Fashion category. The theme was Illusion and I made three designs about a womens body inspirated from the Nineteenth Century. In the Nineteenth Century they deformed a womens body with crinolines, like the picture below.

It is like the women has a big butt but in reality she hasn't. It inspirated me because this is an illusion, she actually doesn't have a big butt but it look likes she has..
The title of the show was: 'THE CENTURY OF THE NEW WOMEN'.
Cause I created a new type of women and it's inspirated on the nineteenths century.

Last weekend I had a show from Kunstbende with the same designs I used in the competition from February. The designs are made from a hoople, used plastic bags and soda cans.

This is the first design it looks like the model is tall but in reality she isn't. The belt is made from soda cans. My friend Derya was complaining cause the cans stungs in her arms.. But if you look at her face it looks like there's nothing wrong.. Great actor (;

The second one is made from a hoople. I actually wanted to bring the hips to the knees, so she will have a bigger torso. The shoes are made of self made ribbons cause if she would were a pair off heels it would look terribly wrong in contrast with the dress.. The mini hoople underneath made Maria a bit uncomfortable, cause of the narrow width she couldn't actually walk .. What gives a funny effect.

 The last design looks like the model has huge hips. The hips are made from chicken wire and paper mache. The top is made from plastic bags. I have cut the plastic bags into strips and glued them together with a glue gun. I had so much work on it.. The chicken wire hurts and sticks at your finger and the glue from the glue gun is so hot. So you have to watch out that the plastic doesn't melting away..

And last but not least, my models and me (:
